Michael Fernando has a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (Majoring in International Management) from Griffith University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. He was admitted to practice in the Queensland Supreme Court and in the High Court of Australia in 2020.
Michael’s interests lie in family law and in migration law.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys an active lifestyle, including camping, four-wheel driving, going to the beach, playing touch football and basketball. He also enjoys travelling, whether in Australia or overseas.
