Holly graduated with Honours in Law and International Law from the University of Leeds (UK)/Universiteit Leiden (The Netherlands) in 1998 and was admitted to practice in the UK in 2002 and NSW in 2004. She has extensive experience in both jurisdictions, including most recently as a Partner in a large regional UK firm and as Special Counsel for an innovative tech law firm in Sydney.
Holly has acted for local, national and international companies, SMEs, tech start-ups and property developers, specialising in Business Law and Commercial Dispute Resolution. She regularly advises business start-ups and established SME companies alike, in all matters including commercial contracts, terms & conditions website terms, services and supply agreements, employment law, protection of intellectual property rights, shareholders and partnership agreements, and all aspects of commercial dispute resolution. This cross-over between contract drafting and litigation informs the way Holly engages with both practice areas. There’s nothing like experience of contractual relationships gone wrong to ensure that newly drafted agreements are properly done!
Clients appreciate Holly’s friendly demeanour, her ability to unpack complex legal issues into plain English, and her practical, timely and commercially-minded guidance. Holly always takes the time to fully understand a client’s business and goals, so as to give astute legal advice tailored to the practical realities of their particular business environment.
When she’s not in the office or spending time with her family, Holly enjoys performing at festivals and gigs, playing Real Tennis, and exploring the great outdoors with her dog, Floss.
Holly is a member of the NSW Law Society.
