He began his legal journey in Hong Kong as a commercial litigator, focusing on cross-border disputes, particularly those involving Mainland Chinese investments, property conflicts, and corporate insolvency and restructuring cases.
Transitioning into the corporate world, Edward held key in-house roles at prestigious companies such as China Everbright Holding Ltd., Phoenix Satellite TV, and Hong Kong TV. As counsel, head of legal, and company secretary, he advised on a wide range of complex legal matters. Over the past decade, Edward has concentrated on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and listing compliance, playing a pivotal role in helping Chinese enterprises acquire strategic assets overseas. His expertise also extends to serving as legal and executive director for an ASX-listed gold mining company based in Perth.
