Alex Palmer is an accomplished legal, ethics, and compliance professional and senior commercial lawyer with a successful career in driving business integrity, mitigating regulatory compliance risk, and managing complex litigation. With extensive experience across national and global organisations of varying size and structure, Alex has built a reputation for designing and executing practical, fit-for-purpose strategies and frameworks that promote ethical behaviour, regulatory compliance, and robust risk mitigation.
Alex completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) at Coventry University in the United Kingdom and went on to complete her postgraduate studies in Personnel Management at South Bank University in London in 1997. She undertook her legal training at BPP Law School in the UK, graduating in 1999, and was admitted to practice in Victoria, Australia in March 2001.
With over two decades of legal practice, Alex has developed strong expertise across a range of areas including litigation, regulatory compliance, regulatory policies and procedures, and business integrity issues such as anti-bribery and corruption, human rights, modern slavery, conflicts of interest, privacy, and fraud. She is also highly experienced in managing privileged culture and conduct investigations, implementing whistleblowing policies and frameworks, and overseeing the management of internal investigations.

Outside of her professional life, Alex lives on a farm in Gippsland, Victoria, where she enjoys the serenity of the countryside. A dedicated equestrian, she spends her spare time riding her horses and competing in local dressage events. She is also an avid skier and passionate traveller, always seeking new and far-flung destinations to explore.
