Christine Brophy is a solicitor who graduated from the National University of Singapore. She is admitted to legal practice in Singapore and Victoria.
Christine has over 20 years’ experience of legal practice and opened her own firm in Singapore before moving to Melbourne in 2002. Her practice includes commercial, migration and property matters, with a focus on employer-nominated and skilled visas, as well as business and investor visas into Australia. She has assisted clients of all nationalities, industries and walks of life to gain residency, do business and invest in Australia. She has also assisted employers Australia-wide, successfully nominating oversees staff to fill skill requirements.
On the commercial level, she has successfully assisted vendors and purchasers to conclude sales and purchases of businesses, ranging from a large multimillion dollar farm to small businesses valued at under $100.00, in industries ranging from hospitality to manufacturing.
Christine has also been the principal of a busy conveyancing practice, acting for both developers selling multiple units or lots, and purchasers, including overseas investors.
Christine is is fluent in English and Chinese and believes that communications is key to servicing clients.
Outside of work, a highlight of Christine’s achievements was representing Singapore in tennis in the Federation Cup.
