Dinesh moved from Singapore to Tasmania in 2012, and completed his Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Business at the University of Tasmania. Dinesh was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in August 2017 and admitted to the High Court of Australia in March 2019. He is a member of the Law Society of Tasmania, and sits on the Society’s Council and the Criminal law committee. Dinesh is also a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance.
Dinesh is known for his forceful advocacy and critical analysis of the law, and obtains excellent outcomes for his clients. He practices in a wide range of areas including criminal, traffic, administrative law, commercial law, discrimination law, wills and estates and property law.
When Dinesh isn’t practicing law he likes cooking and experimenting with different flavours, and on the weekends exploring local markets and sampling local produce.
